Welcome to SeviaFlow
SeviaFlow is a Laravel data framework for building application surfaces from explicit Resource definitions. A Resource connects an Eloquent model to forms, tables, filters, relations, actions, workflows, UI pages and optional API exposure.
Your Eloquent model and database remain the source of truth. SeviaFlow does not replace Laravel migrations, model relationships, policies or business logic.
What SeviaFlow Solves
Business applications often rebuild internal lists, forms, filters, relation managers, import/export screens, REST endpoints, workflow transitions and permission checks more than once. SeviaFlow gives those surfaces a shared, model-aware Resource definition. Your Laravel app still decides what data exists, who can access it and how business operations work.
What You Control
- Eloquent models, relationships, migrations and database constraints.
- Laravel policies and the optional SeviaFlow role-permission system.
- Resource registration and adapter route middleware.
- Whether each Resource is exposed to UI, API, import/export or workflows.
- Business behavior inside action handlers, event handlers and transition handlers.
Core, UI and API
seviaflow/core defines Resources, forms, tables, fields, filters, relations, actions, workflows, permissions and import/export primitives. Core alone does not register UI or API routes.
seviaflow/ui depends on Core and adds the Livewire operator interface. seviaflow/api depends on Core and adds authenticated REST/OpenAPI surfaces. seviaflow/framework is a metapackage for Core, UI and API. Add only the surfaces your application needs.
AI-Friendly Development
SeviaFlow includes project skills that can interview a developer about an idea, map it to the installed framework capabilities, help implement it step by step, and review the result. Read AI-Friendly Development to install them and see how they work.
Learning Path: Build a Working App
- Read Architecture to see which package owns each part.
- Check Requirements & Installation for supported Laravel/PHP versions and installation steps.
- Choose the package combination in Choosing Packages.
- Follow Your First Resource from migration and Eloquent model through a working UI page.
- Use Resource Registration to understand slugs, discovery and routes.
- Read Authorization before exposing real user or business data.
- Continue with the complete Northstar business scenario and the topic references as your app grows.
Each guide separates what SeviaFlow does from what the host Laravel application must configure. Begin with one model and one surface, then add API, workflows, imports or other capabilities when a use case requires them.
