SeviaFlow Get Started

Package Reference

This page summarizes current package manifests and responsibilities.

Core

seviaflow/core namespace: SeviaFlow\Core\. Responsibility: resources, forms, tables, fields, columns, filters, relations, actions, bulk actions, workflows, resource lifecycle events, permissions/roles, import/export primitives, metadata/cache/capability contracts. Source: github.com/seviaflow/core.

UI

seviaflow/ui namespace: SeviaFlow\Ui\. Responsibility: Livewire operator interface, resource pages, dashboard, navigation, saved views, auth/profile screens, role management and assets. Source: github.com/seviaflow/ui.

API

seviaflow/api namespace: SeviaFlow\Api\. Responsibility: REST endpoints, serialization, validation, flow endpoints, OpenAPI generation and API docs view. API is free and has no licensing dependency.

DevTools

seviaflow/devtools namespace: SeviaFlow\DevTools\. Responsibility: install/status/doctor/cache tooling, model discovery and generators. Source: github.com/seviaflow/devtools.

Framework

seviaflow/framework is the full-runtime metapackage requiring seviaflow/core, seviaflow/ui and seviaflow/api. Framework is free and requires no licensing adapter. Source: github.com/seviaflow/framework.

Playground

seviaflow/playground is the Laravel 13 integration playground. Its customer Resource is organized as app/SeviaFlow/Resources/CustomerResource/CustomerResource.php, namespace App\SeviaFlow\Resources\CustomerResource\CustomerResource, with separate form and table definitions under that folder. It is a larger integration example. The first-time guide uses the simpler single-file class in the website repository at examples/CustomerResource.php. Source: github.com/seviaflow/playground.

Verified Compatibility Profile

The beta CI matrix covers Laravel 12 on PHP 8.2/8.3 and Laravel 13 on PHP 8.3, with Livewire 3 and 4. Package tests use SQLite; the free and full Northstar profiles and browser E2E use MariaDB 10.11. PostgreSQL is not yet a verified beta target. Laravel 11 is excluded after its security support ended on March 12, 2026; see the Laravel support policy.

The earlier resolved integration profile was exercised on 2026-09-15 in DDEV with PHP 8.3.30, Laravel 13.29.0, Livewire 4.4.4, MariaDB 10.11, Composer 2.9.5 and Node 22.23.2 for Playground. Website CI requires Node 24.13.0 and npm >=11 <12. The Composer ranges in package manifests are compatibility declarations, not evidence that every PHP, Illuminate, Livewire or database combination has been tested.

Free beta packages do not require a separate runtime licensing package. Core and UI do not import licensing code.

Core, UI, API, Framework and DevTools use MIT. See release, support and security policy and Requirements & Installation for supported runtimes and setup instructions.
